Watch the video. Pretty cool idea, and a perfect spot to execute it.

I recall someone mentioning this to me before, but didn't believe it at the time. A headline on CNN.com today made me think about it again though. Apparently the lady who was severly injured in a freak accident at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade back in '97, was also the recipient of an airplane engine in her bedroom when Cory Lydle's plane crashed into her building.

I could be wrong here, but I'm thinking this lady needs to leave Manhattan asap!

I came across an interesting site called wayfaring a while back. It allows you to create maps (a mashup with Google) with multiple "waypoints". To try it out, I created a map with a bunch of my favorite NYC restaurants. Click on each waypoint to get more information. In some cases I've provided links to reviews I've written here on Multiply.

For my money, the best pizza in the city. While I haven't tried Totonno's, I would rate John's above the other famed NYC pizzerias....Lombardi's, Patsy's and Grimaldi's. All of those serve some fine pizza, and are definitely far better than your average slice joint, but John's is just a notch better. Plus, its got a great Bleecker St. location in the heart of the Village.

There's probably a better version of this somewhere, but here's a decent little summary of the history of pizza in NY that includes pizza family tree that connects Lombardi's, Patsy's and Grimaldi's. It even gives you the scoop behind all of the Ray's Pizza joints in the city.
